Great post at Out of Ur with 129 church names that don’t make sense. Here are my favorites.
Number 13: Journey (“Don’t Stop Believing” is our theme song)
Number 33: Out Post (the parsonage is known as the “Out House”)
Number 50: Awakening (We do early services like nobody else)
Number 90: NorthPointe (Adding an “e” tells everyone we are sophisticated. We drink Lattes)
Number 129: SoulSearch (We really thought StarSearch would be around a lot longer)
